Course Description
Welcome to a whimsical botanical journey where we skip perfection and dive straight into the joy of painting! Together, we will create a vibrant bouquet in a lovely pink and red striped vessel, blooming with a variety of whimsical flora, foliage, and playful berries.
Over 6 video lessons featuring 2 full hours of step-by-step instruction, you will learn how to layer and mix mediums to bring your artwork to life.
What We Will Explore:
Dynamic Techniques: Master fluid wet-on-wet color blending and crisp wet-on-dry layering.
Mixed Media Magic: Combine the soft transparency of watercolor, the rich opacity of gouache, and fine pen and ink for beautiful details.
Creative Freedom: I will be painting on 12” x 12” handmade paper and sharing my personal palette, but you are fully encouraged to use whatever supplies, colors, and brushes you already have on hand to practice along!
